Saw "The Incredibles." I am amazed how much Disney will let Pixar/Brad Bird get away with in terms of dark subject matter because the story is just fantastic. I have to say it's honestly a lot more "mature" than most of the comics out there with the still-fascist Comics Code Authority mark on it. It can't compare to "The Iron Giant" but the fact that he leaves so much open to interpretation (half in part that explicitly stating it would ruin the effect and half because Disney would have conniptions). And I'm geeky enough to sit down and write something nearing 2,000 words on it just because it was that damn interesting.
I await the mockery of any who read, but know that I can mock you back for either watching it (and that means you've seen the things I'm referring to too. I know you have!) or you were silly enough to read this spoilery-thing without watching the movie first. Silly rabbit.
( There is something, deep and pulling, leaving everything behind. Something about having everything you'll ever need... )
